Survivors played the Mitten Movie Project’s Zombie Night this past Tuesday, November 3rd. A whole night of apocalyptic zombie films in Detroit. That’s ripe!

Survivors Plays Austin Film Festival

After writing, shooting, and completing post on Survivors in Austin, Texas, the film will finally make it’s hometown premiere this weekend at the Austin Film Festival!

Here’s the schedule:

Friday, October 23 at 9:30pm at the Hideout
Sunday, October 25 at 5:00pm at Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek

I’ll be attending both screenings, so please come out if you can!

Survivors will be making its Philly debut this weekend at the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival. It plays on Sunday at 1pm.

Survivors at Coney Island

Survivors will make its premiere in the NE part of the country at the Coney Island Film Festival this Saturday at 8pm. The festival was recently ranked as one of the 25 coolest film festivals by Moviemaker Magazine. So I’m excited to see what it’s all about!

Survivors will be playing Dragon*Con in Atlanta this weekend. It’s playing twice, once as part of the Horror Shorts block and a second time as part of the Fan Zombies block.

Fatakra Wrapped!

FATAKRA! is wrapped!!! That means we’re done shooting. There’s still six months to a year’s worth of post production to go, but the shoot — which is the most intense and concentrated part — is over.

The shoot definitely pushed us to the edge of what we could handle given our budget and crew, but we got it in the can! There’s a lot to say about how it all went, but I’ll come back to that after a brief vacation from anything film related.
