Ekaantha Seetha is an extraordinary dance drama about three inspiring women of  courage  and determination:

Seetha  from the great Indian epic Ramayana

Rani Jhansi Lakshmi  from Indian History

Aparajitha  from  the social fabric of India today

Produced by Cleveland Cultural Alliance ,  Ekaantha Seetha is a celebration of women of such extraordinary courage and character, of such gumption and grace. We reap the harvests of the loosened fields of lonely furrows ploughed by such women.

 Some reviews and  comments:

‘ Where should I begin? Wow does not do justice. Is there any better accolade? Whatever that is, this program has it         Girish Malhotra -  Montreal ,Canada  -    email.

l“I was VERY VERY IMPRESSED  and felt that ALLLLLL dancers should go to see the production…!!!!” Buffalo , NY  email

Two years in planning, six months in rehearsals, the shows (38) are booked sight unseen. “All this makes us even more aware of the need to achieve a high level of production. A particular dance drama may be liked better than another but we try to make sure that no one can say it did not have excellent production values.”

words of producer Uma Ganesan

DETROIT     Oct 19  .    Review

The dance drama opened up surprise after surprises with interesting and
different approaches to the presentation and choreographic nuances.  The
opening Sri Ganesa procession through the audience was breath taking and
a refreshing air of divinity pervaded the auditorium, well suited to the
Indian Heritage of Bhakti maarga. Totally unexpected, the mixed audience
of Indians and Americans were transported to a different world of ecstatic
pleasure. This set the mood for an educative, elevating and entertaining
evening
